Greek House of Pizza: A Must-Try Pizza Place in Fredericksburg, VA

Wife and I had a wonderful dinner here tonight. It has been a while since we've been there with our kids years ago. Started off with a couple of appetizers- mushrooms and cheese sticks. They came to the table hot and delicious. For our entrees we had eggplant Parmesan and chicken parmesan. As it turns out I was supposed to order the subs, but, I misheard my wife, LOL. Those were the subs that we used to order every time we went there. The dinners were even better than the subs. Plates were good-sized resulting in us both having to take some of them home with us. We will be back soon. Highly recommend.

I haven't reviewed this restaurant in years but I feel it deserves another"thumbs up.". This is a neighborhood restaurant that I've been visiting for many years. As another reviewer mentioned, there's not much Greek about it. Nevertheless the food is good, inexpensive, and reliable. Steak and cheese is recommended, and if ordered correctly, the pizza is authentic. The store is easy in and out from Route 3 (Kings Highway) and Ferry Rd. Parking is plentiful and easy. Important:. Credit cards are _not_ accepted but checks and cash are.

Update: I think the chicken cheese (no steak) special is even better than the cheese steak special. The cheese steak special is excellent but we've been having the chicken instead lately which is also good. The bread is perfect. The fries are great compared to any place around.

I've been a patron of this place for over 20 years. I go here at least once a month when I live in the area. The best fresh cut and fries to be had on this side of the Rappahannock River. This place is a gem to me as much as George Washington's childhood home, just a stone's throw away. I recommend the steak special. Honestly, I get that sandwich each time I go. Mushrooms, peppers, onions, and pepperoni Cooked and baked into a steak n cheese. The pizza oven shows its touch with the crunch of the buns on first bite. This place is worth the stop. Bring cash here.

Staff was timely and really nice. Appetizer seem made from scratch. Side salad fresh and bigger than most. Everyone's sub, gyro, and pasta were big portions and most importantly tasty. Definitely returning to try more

We’ve been going there for over 18 years. We went there the first time by accident- we’d just moved to town and we were exhausted from moving. So went out to find the first place to eat. And we were hooked. Everything is wonderful, and my personal favorite is the CheeseSteak sandwiches. They will make them exactly as you like it. And they have homemade fries! So yummy! They don’t advertise much because they don’t have to. Word of mouth has been very successful for them. Go eat there and Enjoy!!

Alicison was a great server as usual. And the food order is always right. She keeps up very well with the refills on the drinks, very rarely have to ask for them. Thank you Alicison.

The steak and cheese is delicious, as are the onion rings. We’ve always had great service and they are always very friendly. The food always comes fast. They even remember our order just by my voice and what I order. We’ve eaten there for over 25 years. I definitely recommend them.
